“Run by a group of Parisian friends, Cocotte is a French farm-to-table chicken rotisserie, based in the heart of Notting Hill. The restaurant offers healthy, delicious homemade dishes including sauces, sides and salads made out of fresh, farm-grown ingredients, available both to eat in or takeaway.
Founders Romain, Ziad and Capucine opened this healthy establishment in February 2016, as they felt that London was missing a wholesome French rotisserie. Since then, Cocotte has been awarded Certificate of Excellence 2016 & 2017 by TripAdvisor.
Their amazing chickens all come from a family run farm, established in 1947 and located in East Yorkshire, in England. They are fed with a 100% natural diet based on grains, are red tractor accredited and are winners of the ‘Great Taste’ Awards. The chickens are then marinated for 24 hours in Cocotte’s secret recipe of herbs and spices.
The menu also includes lighter options – like various salads, which all have traditional female French names – or more decadent ones like mac and cheese or even potatoes roasted in chicken dripping.
The menu was created by Romain, the chef of the group, who took on this challenge after completing many years in a number of Michelin-starred restaurants including Villa Lauraine (1*) and Le Chalet de la Foret (2*).”
